Seeding Near Complete Across Saskatchewan
The Saskatchewan Crop Report shows seeding near complete across the province. All crop districts are reporting 99% complete which is up from 92% last week. The five year average (2014-2018) is 93% for this same time of year.
Rainfall is the topic on everyone’s minds now. Saskatoon and Moose Jaw have seen the driest Springs on record, and many others are close behind. See this latest report from CBC: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/
This lack of moisture is likely to delay crop growth across much of the province. Watch a Global news video report here: https://globalnews.ca/news/
