The 2023 seeding season is underway!
Areas on the West side of the province were delayed due to wet snow in April, but most of those areas were happy to see the moisture.
Much of the East side of the province has begun seeding which is a nice surprise after having one of the latest starts in history in 2022.
Most of the seeding that has been done so far is in the West side of the province which is normal for this time of year. The cool and wet East side of the province usually starts later.
The forecast is for hot dry weather which is concerning to those in dry areas (typically West side) while those on wet areas (typically East side) are grateful for the heat.
